For the DreamBuildPlay contest, is it better for me to take every last minute until the submission deadline to tweak my game or is there some advantage to submitting earlier

I can't imagine there's any benefit to submitting early. It's not like you'll get extra points or something.

It seems like everyone is keeping their DPB WU submission very secretive, anyone know of any blogs of people working on submissions who are discussing it

If you're done already, you could just let your finished one sit there and start on another entry. You still have a week and you can submit more than one entry. Better chances to win, especially if you don't think there's much to add to your current one.

@Lima Beans - it's probably because nobody wants to give anyone else ideas. a couple of ideas here and there could make or break your game. Although I'm sure that afterwards, you'll probably be seeing a torrent of blogs/tutorials/walkthroughs in how people created their games.

I know I'm not releasing any info on my DBP entry until after the deadline.

I'm also not going to release any info on my entries.
Not for the warm-up, and definetly not for the main phase. Truth be told, most of you know one of my entries for the main phase, but the other one has it's design document locked up. :)

I'm actually only going to be able to really work on my entry this weekend so later is better for me.

I can't wait to see all the submission's screenshots once the warm-up contest is finished.

Not everyone is being secretive with their entries :-D though I'll admit I'm not posting every single thought on the matter, I'm trying to share as much of the experience as I can without taking away time from the actual development.

the website doesnt seem to be working anyways, so cant submit early even if you tried =p

Get a login screen when I go to submit, but all the other links cause "technical difficulties" errors, so doesnt look like any way to create an account.
