I`ve tried to program a Event Handler for the Keyboard with XNA to detect whether a Key is pressed. I used the code I found on the Microsoft Help Site:


With a standard USB - Keyboard its working fine but I got a special Keyboard which is sending ascii code automatically very fast. Now its not working anymore. Only a few ascii signs are transmitted. Maybe the Updatefunction ist too slow

I tested my fast Keyboard with the original Input-dialog on the Xbox 360. (OnscreenKeyboard) And its was working. All expected ascii signs were transmittet. So there must be a way to put it into practice.

Does anybody know a solution or can give me a hint how to get the source for the original Input dialogbox on the Xbox360
