When you get done with you game and sumbit it, crow about it here.

A little over 24 hours left until the deadline and I'm so amazed I'm done, so much better than college

Thanks to ZMan for his help, good luck all. I'll post the source code for my submission once the deadline hits.

I'm done. I haven't slept this night at all (it's 6 A.M. here ), and I have classes first thing in the morning, but I'm extremely pleased of what I achieved.

Just a sneak preview: my game in called Quantum Wars and is all about time/space manipulation in order to win the battle against the other player.

I thank all the comunity for: code snipets, support, examples, counter-examples  and everything else.

I'll post some more info on my blog hosted at xbox360homebrew, in a few days.

Good luck everyone!

Catalin,

I can't wait to see your game, you do great work. I was up until 3 last night, and then I didn't sleep well. My game is called "Spacewar: Mission Pegasus" and is a 2.5D scroller.

I just submitted mine. Unfortunately, it has a couple of glaring problems. I considered not submitting it, but decided I'd worked to hard over the past week to not at least enter it. I'll post an updated version for the community over on gameprojects.com within a week or so.

Well, I've just finished uploading Space Fortress - a remake of Space Zap! from the early 80's.  I've still got a list of things I wanted to add, but that I ran out of time for.

The quote about adding people to a late project will make it later is very true.  I'd started with a team size of three - Me, my wife, and my 3.5 year old playtester, Katrina. Feb 27th we added a new team member - Naomi.

I'm just happy my wife is so supportive of my attempts to get a game built.

Cheers to all, and the best of luck to one and all.

Yeah I had a team very similar to that, my 8 year old daughter was my main playtester and my wife was the "novice gamer" to make sure it wasn't ridiculously hard. By new team member do you mean new member of the family If so, congratulations!

I too am done with my entry. At this point I don't see why I should not at least release the binary for people to play with. Head on over to my site to check out Space Wars Tactics!

I'll be releasing the source in a day or two.

Good luck to everyone.

Finished mine at about 1am PST last night. It's called SolarBall and it's basically like a two-man space soccer.

After I've had a nap, I'll post the binaries if anybody's interested.

I'm really looking forward to seeing everybody's entries. Two weeks is a very short amount of time to develop a game, even a simple one, but XNA seems to have brought back alot what it set out to do: the one man coding furiously alone in his bedroom.

I'd like to post my game somewhere, for others to see, but I'm still wodering if it is ok with MS. Anyone has an official opinion

Yup. She was born at 00:12 on the 27th, which meant a few features were dropped, but that's ok.

Can't wait to see what people turned in - I hope MS displays more than just the winners.

Dan.

Hello everyone!

We've submitting our game right now and we hope our upload will be ok!

We're a group of three, our game is called "G" and is about two ships throwings rocks at each other

Good luck everyone, we hope to see all your games very soon because we are curious about all the games that you've created for the contest.

Bye.

It's done and submitted now. It's called Joe's Fuel Harvest Service. The game consists of mining planetoids for radioactive mineral to fuel the ships of Spacewar.
