I recently downloaded the XNA framework and XNA Studio Express only to learn that my exsisting card won't work. Been doing some research but I'm on a tight budget. Would this card work

If not, can someone please suggest a cheap card that would work Thanks!

The Graphics card requirements for XNA are (from the FAQ)

Also, you need a Direct3D 9.0 video card capable of supporting at least Shader Model 1.1. Our recommendation is that your graphics card supports Shader Model 2.0 since many samples and starter kits require it. Check your graphics card manufacturer¡¯s website for more information about your specific graphics card.

Reading through the specifications for the card in the link you gave, it seems to have them all covered so you should be good to go.

It'll work fine but at that price level you're better off getting a 6200. Speedwise there probably isn't much difference but the 6x series supports shader model 3.0 (the 5x series is 2.0).

This particular 6200 is $38: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp Item=N82E16814145134

Avoid 6200's that use "turbocache" memory since that really means it uses system memory, which makes it run slower.
