To test out a game I made on XNA do I have to be a member of xna club or can I simply test it out on my computer

You can test it out on your computer. You can even use your wired 360 controller, or wireless(if you have the windows reciever), if you code controller input into a windows game such as I am with my pong clone Smile (I'm a noob too).

Jim Perry

To deploy and run an XNA game on the 360 you currently need to be a Creators Club member, but you're free to do pretty much whatever you want with XNA on the PC side.

How do I run my game

Re: XNA Game Studio Express simple NOOB question

The ZMan

Copy the contents of the release directory under your project. That will have everything you need.

The program will then run on any computer which has .Net 2.0, DirectX 9.0c and the XNA redist installed correctly
