Well I was going through the first XNA tutorial and then got to the part right before you make the model rotate and I compiled the program and got a nasty little surprise! there was this error in the

Could not find a Direct3D device that has a Direct3D9-level driver and supports pixel shader 1.1 or greater.

I'm not sure what it is and how to fix it... so yeah and yes I tried searching for the problem but I couldn't find anything about it. And I wasn't sure how to look up my Graphics card to see if it's compatible but yeah my computer is pretty new! So it should be good right

Here's a wikipedia article on supported graphics cards, you need pixel shader 1.1+. If you want to know what graphics card you have, right click your desktop, hit properties, then go into the settings tab, and it should read something like: [Monitor] on [GraphicsCard]

my Graphics card doesn't support it fully so yeah... looks like that's the end of my XNA Game Studio days! And I was getting the hang of it too! ah maybe I can check some of the other computers to see if they support it.

You can still use the reference rasterizer, but i'll run magnitudes slower. I'd suggest aquiring a new graphics card.
