Jim Perry

XNA Magic (I'd have chosen a different name, but, whatever )

Re: XNA Framework Upcoming XNA Game Engine

Dodger_

Thought you knew better. :P

Commercial posts. Do not post threads intended to drive people to your commercial site. You are welcome to discuss your product and how it can help somebody in the context of a thread, but be clear that you are referring to a commercial product.

It's not his engine or product Dodger_ (unless I'm terrible mistaken Jim is pretty busy on his game for the dream contest). Just something new coming for the community. He does it for all new products related to XNA and it's pretty appreciated.

Nope, not mine. It might be useful for some of the people here though. I'll be looking at it. The site is pretty sparse right now.

Impressive. Judging by the videos it looks like you've put a lot of work into this system. Do you have an expected release date

Also I think you may have used the wrong "shadows" video. There are no shadows in it.

It's not mine. The site says that the beta will be in February.

Just to let you know for informational purposes the site is now live.

Well maybe there is a bit of tweaking here and there to do and of course we need to add a heck of a lot more content as time permits. But feel free to look around and ask us any questions that come to mind.

By the way it seems you guys (and others) managed to find the site at least a week before it was ready. We never submitted the site to the search engines so it was a bit surprising to us that it started turning up in search results. Apparently Google must monitor domain registrations and start indexing automatically.

Now I must stop writing HTML and get back to writing the product again.

cheers,

The site, and especially the demo videos, are excellent.

Looking forward to trying your product out, assuming the price is reasonable for a single hobbyist user.

Will be interesting to see how your product outperforms TorqueX (if at all) in terms of performance, features and ease of use.
