Thanks in advance.

Launch C# Express. GSE is integrated with it. Check in the Create New Project dialog for the GSE templates.

Valentin

I checked "New Project" but there is no XNA templates-none of those seen in tutorial.

MashRinx

I would suggest a reinstall of C# and then GSE. Did you install CE Express Edition, or another version

I'm trying to get GSE to run on Vista (after installing C# with SP1 and the Vista update package and registering it), but I don't see any of the templates either. Is their a way to manually locate the templates and add them to the templates list

Re: XNA Game Studio Express Can't find how to launch XNA Game Framework after having installed it-please help

Valentin

I uninstalled and re-installed both, but nothing seem to help Sad. I still have no game-templates when I click on "New Project".

Sorry,I don't know what's a "CE Express Edition". I installed the version that is free to download from http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/downloads/ .

Should I download XNA game-maker templates manually or they should appear after installation of GSE

The should appear in the New Project dialog after installing GSE. Try downloading the Marblets starter kit from the Creators Club site, follow the directions for installing it and see if it appears in the dialog.

Valentin

I downloaded the Marblets kit and installed it. Now it appears in "New Project" dialog, near Search Online Templates, but when I click it I get a message box telling me that this type of projects isn't supportes by the application Sad.

Valentin

Thank's God,my problem got solved. Thanks everyone who has tried to help me out.

Don't know if it should be this way, the GSE I downloaded the first time yesterday from link at

http://creators.xna.com/Education/GettingStarted.aspx from Microsoft site was only 1.92 MB size

and it was no good. I googled for GSE and found source of the file whose size was 81.1 MB. I downloaded it and installed it and

when I launched my C# I got al the templates seen in the tutorial videoTongue Tiedpacewar template and XBox 360 template.

When I checked the linked above I saw that now the file there is the same-81.1 MB. So probably it was uploaded there today.

Have a nice day,Valentin.

Hmm, the link on that page takes me to the correct download page. Not sure what you were looking at yesterday.

Glad you got it working.

Re: XNA Game Studio Express Can't find how to launch XNA Game Framework after having installed it-please help

Valentin

Just to make things clear. First time I downloaded and installed XNA Framework 1.0, not XNA Game Studio Express 1.0.

Now see my mistake.

Have a nice day,Valentine.
