Hello!

I have been searching online all morning trying to fin the solution for this but to no avail. I have a list with about 20 fields and for each alternating item in this list I want the background color to be different from the previous item. I have tried the following:

- =iif(Row(Nothing) Mod 2, "LightGray", "White")

It works for a table but not for the list and no one seems to have any clu about this would be achieved. Has anyone here got some good suggestions, apart from "use a table"

Thanks Long for your reply!!

I was able to use the method I had tried with tables previously, what I needed to do was to move my fields from a list to a rectangle and then embed that as an element in my table....and hey presto it now works.

Thanks again Long!!

FWIW... I think it might have worked with a list as well, but not with a scope of Nothing. You would have to scope to the dataset or the group explicitly...
