I've got a feeling I know what the answer is, but I'm going to be hopeful and ask....

We have a process template we created using Beta 3. Now we have a new server that has the RTM version of TFS. We tried using the same process template, but some strange things are happening (e.g. reports aren't working).

Is there an easy way to upgrade the template, or do we have to create a new process template

Hi,

As you said, i think you would be knowing the answer as well. Any how, i will give you my suggestions in this regard. In RTM versions of TFS, the database schemas are completely changed from Beta 3 and RC versions....So that is the reason for your problem in getting the reports not working properly in RTM.

You need to understand the new CUBE structure of TFS RTM versions and start creating the new reports out of it. I hope you are familiar in creating NEW CUSTOM Reports out of it if you are using your own CUSTOM process templates.

Yes you need to create a new process template or at least you need to revise the old one manually.
