I'm new to TeamPlain so forgive me if there is a simple solution to the following.

Under the Documents tab I have created a new Document Library and have enabled versioning. Next I have uploaded a new document, checked it out and saved a local copy. Then I updated the document, re-uploaded the document (since it of course has the same name, I am forced to select the Overwrite check-box), and checked it in. I now assume that I have two versions of the document checked into source control.

Now when I choose 'View History" I get the "Failed to compare two elements in the array" error message. Are my initial assumptions wrong about have two versions in source control If so, how does one save multiple versions of a document in a Document Library that has versioning enabled

I am using Team Plain Web Access for Team System, Version 1.0 build 2641.

Sorry to need so much hand-holding, but how can I tell the version I've found the "Windows Sharepoint Services Administration" service (and other sharepoint services) running, but I'm not sure the version. Looking at the .exe I can spot "Product Version 12.0.4518.10106".

Okay, got it through "Add/Remove Programs". I've got Windows Sharepoint Services 2.0 English Template Pack (Version 11.0.81730.0). I think I guess your reply in advance...install v3.0, right

Hello N Bauer,

Do you use TFS 2005

If so you don't neet to upgrade to WSS 3.0

.

Could you please check the team project portal to make sure

Create a version each time you edit a file is selected in the document library

Good luck.

Hi,

You don't need to install Wss 3.0. The version of Team System Web Access you are using is pretty old. Can I suggest you to install Visual Studio Team System Web Access 2005 Power Tool If you have Orcas Beta Tfs installed, you can also try Visual Studio Team System Web Access 2008 Power Tool Community Technology Preview. Hope these help.
