I have got

- Microsoft Windows XP SP2

- Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition for Software Developers SP1

- Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Explorer SP1

I tried to

- create an ordered test in VS "Test View" (right click, New Test, Ordered Test)

- delete the just created "OrderedTest1" again

- said yes to "Are you sure you want to delete the selected items "

And got an error message box saying:

- "Microsoft Visual Studio" "Value does not fall within the expected range"

- the selected ordered test is not deleted (at least not removed from my Test View list, even after refreshing)

Any hints how to get rid of this again

Re: Visual Studio Team System - Testing Deleting ordered test produces "Value does not fall within the expected range" message box?

In order to do Test Management, you need to have the Team Edition for Testers. Someone has obviously created the OrderedTest using that edition, so you will need to access that edition or have the creator remove the Test.

No, that was not the case. I created it myself with a Developer Edition.

However, deletion did not fail after reboot of VS.
