I've built a dataset using the DataSet Designer in Visual Studio 2005 (with SP1). I find that I need to add a constraint, go to load the DataSet's XSD, and the Designer throws the following exception and fails to load:

"Only TrueType fonts are supported. This is not a TrueType font."

So I figured I had a hosed up instllation of VS 2005. I cleaned Visual Studio (including SQL Server, MSXML, MSDN, etc) off of the box and re-installed. I also upgraded to SP1 hoping that this was a bug fixed within the pack.

Loaded up my project and the Dataset showed up correctly in the Designer, yesterday.

Today, despite no changes having been made VS settings, project settings, or fonts on the machine, I'm back to receiving the exception.

Anybody seen this and know the root cause and a fix (other than the temporary one I used!)

Thanks.

When you look in the Tools => Options => Environment => Fonts and Colors for the font settings for the DataSet Designer, is it set to "Automatic"

Yes, it is set to Automatic for all display items.

Thanks.
