    - Add/Remove operation is impossible, because the code element 'my module' is read only. Just recently I had to shut off my computer during a debug session with VS 2005 because the entire system had hung.     - Problem with MSBuild and Warning notification I have WinXP Pro SP2 and VS2005 SP1. I'm converting my projects from VS2003 to VS2005 and I receive a lot of warnings in several projects. For example, to one of my projects (for example MyProject.vbproj) I receive the following result in the command prompt: Build succeeded: ... ... This is the scenario: I have SQL Server 2005 in one machine(server X). I will install my Team Foundation Server in different machine(server Y) and I will use the SQL Server of Server X as my database server. Is this possible in Single-Server Deployment I know that there is a Dual-Server Deployment wherein I may separate the database to application and I may install also the SQL server in the same machine but due to licensing issue for SQL Server we are not doing this.     - Readonly after save I tried this as well as <cannotlosevalue>. Both clauses allow the user to get around the restriction. The only solution I could find was to make the fields in question <readonly> if the state is not proposed.     - Target AfterBuild doesn't appear to be firing was following Douglas Rohm's post ( http://dougrohm.com/articles/11.aspx ) on customizing a TeamBuild to deploy the web app after the build. I don't think the AfterBuild is actually firing.     - Can I debug 2 applications simultaneously? OK, just as a foreword, I would appreciate if anyone answering assumes a pretty low level of knowledge on my part (in all the relevant fields). Also I don't know if "applications" is the proper term. I am working with a web-application that calls to a web-service for for all DataAccess logistics. BusinessLogic and DataAccess sit in separate dlls. When I am debugging the web-site, breakpoints set in businessLogic say no symbols have been loaded and the breakpoitns will not be hit. Also, if I am debugging the web-application I cannot debug the web-service, and vice versa. Is there any way to have breakpoints hit in both applications (As well as in the other dlls ) Thanks.     - VS 2005 / ClearCase Lockup I'm running Visual Studio 2005 under WinXP Pro and am using Rational ClearCase client ver. 2003.06.16. Recently I tried to check out a .aspx file via ClearCase while connected to my employer's LAN via a VPN connection. It took about five minutes before I could open the .NET solution and then check out the file. Once I had done this, Visual Studio froze up on me so I had to kill my VS application process. When I restarted VS, VS opened a pop-up window that said VS had encountered a problem and needs to close. It also offered to send an error report to Microsoft (like would make a difference . I told VS to send it and so it did. However, whenever I try to open VS, I get this pop-up but VS won't actually start. I tried doing a repair-reinstall using my VS CDs and I also de-installed and then re-installed VS but I keep getting this error. I'm not unable to open VS. Is there anything else I can do to repair VS 2005 other than re-image my drive and re-install everything from scratch Thanks.     - Install problem Hi all, Some background information: * installing VS and the SDK to "d:" is a supported scenario. * we haven't seen the "unable to find a component, re-install the application" in relation to the DSL tools or a target designer msi before, and * I have in the past built a target desginer msi file and installed it successfully on my development machine (I wouldn't recommend this though - it's much better to test the msi on a clean machine). To test the dynamic help I created a VB project, opened up a forms properties, clicked on a property and clicked the F1 button. The help screen was displayed properly. We notice that when we check in unchanged files and there are changes in the database of this file, VSS does not update working folder file. We are using "always keep check out" option. After checking in unchanged file VSS does not update working folder file, but changes check out state to the latest source save version of the file. So in subsequent checking in, old version of the file is pushed to VSS databes. In VSS 6.0 the behavior was correct. Manipulation with VSS options does not help. Hi,

Yes, you understood my thread subject correctly.

I go to my list of defect and if i try to order the list on any columns OR if i select another page, i get back to the login screen. And if i try to log in, i get the error 'Unable to connect to the remote server'. I have to close and reopen the browser to be able to log back in...

Is this a known bug Could it be a setting on the IIS server

It looks like you are loosing your session on the server each time you try to order the list or go to a different page.

Can you please check the event log for any clues You can also try enabling the logging to collect more information.

There are no error in the event viewer and logging is enabled in IIS but with nothing relevant to this error.

However, i think i found the problem :

My website can be accessed from a proxy server that enable people outside of our network to access Team Plain. so for them the url would be something like http://www.mycompany.com/teamplain.

Any link in team plain refers to this url Except for the one to order the list of work item. Instead the link refers to the IP address of the machine (http://1.2.3.4/teamplain/...) .

Is there something i can do to resolve this
