Marlin7

Hitting the webserver site and logging on, the response is this:

Client found response content type of 'text/html; charset=utf-8', but expected 'text/xml'. The request failed with the error message: -- <html> <head> <title>Configuration Error</title> <style> body {font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:normal;font-size: .7em;color:black;} p {font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:normal;color:black;margin-top: -5px} b {font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:bold;color:black;margin-top: -5px} H1 { font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:normal;font-size:18pt;color:red } H2 { font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:normal;font-size:14pt;color:maroon } pre {font-family:"Lucida Console";font-size: .9em} .marker {font-weight: bold; color: black;text-decoration: none;} .version {color: gray;} .error {margin-bottom: 10px;} .expandable { text-decoration:underline; font-weight:bold; color:navy; cursor:hand; } </style> </head> <body bgcolor="white"> <span><H1>Server Error in '/' Application.<hr width=100% size=1 color=silver></H1> <h2> <i>Configuration Error</i> </h2></span> <font face="Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, SunSans-Regular, sans-serif ........

The site uses .Net 2.0, anonymous logins are allowed, there hasn't been a reboot of the TFS/TeamPlain server after installation ended, i've never logged onto the client side site, only the above message appears. Where is the "configuration" error Where is the place to change the "content type" Anyone seen this before

TIA.

Re: Team Foundation Server - Team System Web Access Error rendering TeamPlain after logon

Marlin7

After rebooting and installing this version

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx FamilyID=2105C9EE-565E-47B9-A5AC-9A8FF8A07862&displaylang=en

it is possible to access via IE on the AT. But from another machine, IE cannot display the webpage.

The install directory has the files, the site is using .net 2.0, i am using the same account to log into both machines, but still on the remote machine IE won't render. Any ideas
