Is there a way to use a website for working with work items so I didnt need to do it in Team Explorer

We don't have that feature (we're considering it for a future version, but no announced plans), but there are partners that provide it.

We can use Team Foundation Object Model to create that functionality on a web page easily.

What I want to know is can we use the same controls (for viewing the list of workitems and details of workitems) which are available in Windows Forms Application, assuming that .NET is present on the browser side.

For examples of using work item form controls in your WinForms application see:-

However, you cannot use the WinForms controls in an ASP.NET page if that is what you are asking. You might be able to deploy them as part of a Click-Once application so long as the Team Explorer client has been installed on the client machine.

Hope that helps,

Martin.
