Hi,

We are trying to create the installable version for CVS source control plug-in

  • I have created a new product in the http://www.vsipmembers.com site
  • Requested the PLK for the product
  • The package load analyser gives an error saying

Package Load Key(PLK) verification failed for package {f43e10ac-fbbd-4cfd-97e3-6ffc567073bf}.

Plk verification was based on the following entries in the registry -

    CompanyName - Synechron Technologies

    ProductName - VS-CVS plugin

    ProductVersion - 1.0

    MinEdition - Standard

    ID - 150

  • when we try to debug the we are getting the following error

---------------------------
Microsoft Visual Studio
---------------------------
Package Load Failure

Package 'Wachovia.Cib.Applications.Plugins.CVSSccProvider.SccProvider, Wachovia.Cib.Applications.Plugins.CVSSccProvider, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=f918416c5fbab3cb' has failed to load properly ( GUID = {F43E10AC-FBBD-4CFD-97E3-6FFC567073BF} ). Please contact package vendor for assistance. Application restart is recommended, due to possible environment corruption. Would you like to disable loading this package in the future You may use 'devenv /resetskippkgs' to re-enable package loading.
---------------------------
Yes No
---------------------------

I am not sure if I have missed out on any step or I have used wrong info while generating PLK.

I have request for another PLK, but haven't got it yet. How long does it take for a PLK generation .

Thanks in advance

Narsimhan

Narsimhan,

If you are using VS SDK v4, use the new Package Load Analyzer feature located at Tools\Package Load Analyzer.

Also verify this link:
