Friends,
I am developing a website using Microsoft visual Studio .Net 2005 Beta 2 Team suite. The website that I have developed using Asp.Net 2.0 and C# is currently running smoothly on my local machine and it is also running fine under the IIS on the local machine.I have published the website on my local hard disk and have copied the published project on to my web server domain. On my webserver .Net Framework Beta 1 is installed. When I try to browse it is giving error.
I want to know what could be the possible reason for my project showing errors on the server. Is it that I will have to load .Net Framework Beta 2 on the webserver Will have to load the SQL Server Express 2005 Beta 2 Will I have to load entire Team Suite Beta 2 More specifically it is only showing errors in web.config file regarding membership and the minRequiredPasswordLength.
Can anyone help get out of this problem and have my website running on my webserver domain
        Thanks in advance.

abdul,
You need .NET Framework Beta 2 on the production server. There are many changes in ASP.NET 2.0 between beta 1 and 2 so you must have beta 2 to make this work. (changes involve many things. From page directives to compilation model and some features that have been droped like dynamic image, sitecounters, etc)

Team System does not need to be on the production environment. It is only for the dev environent.

What problem do you exactly have

I sure hope you don't use any Beta software anymore regarding .NET FW 2.0

It shiped more then a Year ago, So at first I would make sure you are now running the RTM bits of .NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005 Team System.

Please state your exact problem, then I might be of help.

Regards,

Marcel
