Hi Matik,
I'm afraid there are no other places to download PowerToys currently. I am not sure which powerToys you mean. But for ClassDeisgner PowerToys, we plan to put onto another website(maybe: codeplex), but it need time.
Sorry for inconvenient.
Thanks,
I will wait for Class Designer PowerToys to appear on codeplex.
Maybe, someone could email PowerToys to me, please.
No the download is not gone you just have to look for it, I downloaded it for SuperDiff and I was not impressed with it. So here is the download link enjoy. If you run VS team suites you have to look for it after installation. Hope this helps.
Caddre,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm afraid I wasn't clear about what I'm looking for:
If you look at this list of Tools and Utilities, the item you refer to is listed as Visual Studio 2005 IDE Enhancements. I actually want the last item on the page, PowerToys for the Visual Studio 2005 Class Designer and Distributed System Designers. If you click on that link, you'll see that it is a dead link in gotdotnet.
From the Wayback Machine, I figured out that the download is called ModelingPowerToys.zip. Unfortunately, they don't cache the download.
Here's an article on the tools by the speaker I heard last weekend: Working with the VS 2005 Class Designer - Part 2.
So to clarify, where can I download ModelingPowerToys.zip, November 2006 release, also known as the PowerToys for the Visual Studio 2005 Class Designer
Thanks,
Mark
You can get it with VS2007 CTP download or post on the thread started by the creator of the tool. Hope this helps.

I assume that unnamed blogger is referring to Orcas. I fired up my Orcas virtual machine but could not find ModelingPowerToys.zip. It doesn't help me if it is built in to Orcas; I need something I can use with VS2005.
Matik already asked about the download on the thread you refer to. When he didn't get a reply, he started this thread. I'll "bump" the other thread with a request anyway.
The name I think have changed to DSL tools because the creator started th workspace to do his job for the DSL tools team. The three links below contain some form of what you are looking for which I think is now part of VS team suites. Pay attention to the contents of the second link it comes up in most of my Gotdotnet searches for the tools.
I don't see anything in the Domain-Specific Language Tools Reference that refers to the class designer.
I downloaded the 125MB SDK so I could extract the 14K readme.html. It does not mention the class designer.
The third link is the Orcas SDK. I do not want Orcas until it is released in production, not beta.
Run a search for class designer and distributed system designer on Google and you will find the distributed system designer is now part of VS team suites for Architects and the class designer is added into Orcas. There is an MSDN lab link that is killed. The Microsoft I know only kill links to things it does not want developers to find. Yes developers have old copies so look for one who is willing to share.
