I'm running VS 2005 with SP1 and the subequent patch for Vista. Vista's UAC is turned off. I am logged in as a local administrator, and even so I have tried "Run as Administrator" when launching VS. When using Source Control Explorer, all I get when right-clicking any object is "No Commands Available". On an XP machine accessing the same project using the same user account, I get the normal context menu options. Is this a known problem with Vista If not, any ideas what else might cause it TIA,

Re: Team Foundation Server - Version Control Vista + Source Ctrl Expl = No Commands Available

I have not heard of this issue before - I am running Vista and Visual Studio Team System with the source control explorer just fine also with UAC switched on.

Thanks, Martin. I found the answer -- under Tools, Options, Source Control, "Current source control plug-in" was set to None. Once I set it to Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, all was well.
