I'm trying to show the error icon on the DatagridView RowValidate event but never display it.

CONTEXT:
  • VB.NET Custom control that incorporate a Datagridview oject
  • Dinamically created DataTable with some custom field data type binded to BindingSource Object
  • On the row validating event if some columns value is dbnull value , setting the Row Errortext property with a string error message and the Cancel property to True.
RESULT
  • The Focus can't move aroud from current row untill the correction of cell's value that generate the Error but nevere display Error Icon!
Any solution that i find on internet solve the problem(Row Height and Width)

Try play with the RowHeaderWidth property

I think your icon is hiding from you...
