Is there any way to change the default properties of a windows forms control without having to make a custom control

I understand "change default properties" means you want to provide only few properties shown in the property grid for a specific control. Is that what you mean by this

No. I'm wondering if Visual Studio keeps it's properties for the default controls somewhere in a place where I can change them. For example : if I add a new form and drag a default button on it, the size, text, anchor, etc. has a different value than the default one.

Hi Vincent

I think those default properties is included in control class code,

so we can't change it unless we change control's code.

I think you can extend your own control form base control and set its defult properties
