I have written a small app for displaying a web site, the app will check where the navigation is going etc before alowing to proceed.

everything works well apart from one thing, one of the pages has a map written in flash, now when viewed using ie you can drag an item around the map, when i view in my app the flash map is very jerky and doesnt alway move the item round the map... i am wondering if there is something in the program which could be taking the focus and not allowing the flash to work properly...

anyone got any ideas

Thanks

Hi Lee,

You can try to use AxWebBrowser component instead of the WebBrowser. If you cannot see this control on the toolbox, take the following steps:

1. Right click on the ToolBox and select 'Choose Items ...'

2. Select the COM tab

3. Locate "Microsoft Web Browser" in the list and check it

4. Cilck Ok

There should now be a Microsoft Web Browser item in your toolbox, and drag it onto your form. It will automatically add necessary references to SHDocVw and AxSHDocVw. Then navigate to the flash file using the following code:

Code Block
axWebBrowser1.Navigate(@"D:\Mp3\cc.swf");//change to your file path or url

Hope this helps.
Best regards.

Hi Lee,

I have tested it with Internet Explorer 7, and it works well on my machine. Could you please provide which Internet Explorer are you using now

Thanks.

Hi Rong-Chun, i am using ie7 also, like i said, its only one specific map that uses a zoom function, so you get a smaller verison of the map on the left, with a magnifying glass effect on the right, as you move the pointer over the map on the left the image in the magnifying glass changes accordingly, it is only this map that is giving me problems.

thanks
