does anyone have a snippet of code I can use that will list every event as it fires in order as a Form opens please

foreach of your methods, right click on the first line and go to Breakpoint>Instert Breakpoint. then press F5 to debug your project. this will show you the breakpoint point everytime it is run.

thanks Cameron, I think you've missed the point.

If I start a new project and put 'nothing' in it, when I press run, a blank Form opens.

I want to know which events have fired and in what order.

I've found this

System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine("It's me, the " + sender.ToString() + " Form_Activated event!");

System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine("It's me, the " + sender.ToString() + " Form_AutoSizeChanged event!");

but adding in each event manually is a pain Sad

You could simply add a messagebox in every event. Saying. "Hey, enterend Validated event".

And also... "No pain, no gain".
