Pardon me if this has already been posted. If so please post a link to the existing thread.

I have a listview in largeicon mode in my application and I would like to display three lines of text for the labels. When the item is selected the three lines appear correctly but when the listview goes out of focus or another item is selected the label gets truncated to two lines followed by an ellipsis. Can anyone give me some pointers how to get the listview to display all three lines without requiring the item be selected

Thanks

This is standard behavior of the native ListView component and can't be altered. You can make the label wider by sending the control the LVM_SETICONSPACING message. That might give you enough room to fit the label in two lines.

Thanks for the reply. I'll give that a shot. I was hoping there was some way to override this behavior.

I was able to override the spacing and get the information on the screen. Thanks for the help.
