I am creating my own installer/uninstaller due to some of the restrictions a VSSetupProject has. Everything is working as I had planned except for one last thing.

Upon exit of my uninstaller project, I need it to delete itself. I have tried doing this via the FormClosedEventHandler, but to no avail.

Is there a way I can easily (or not easily, doesn't really matter) to delete the executable after it exits without creating an external file to do so Is there an API I can use to accomplish this

Any insight on this is greatly appreciated.

nobugz

Check this web page. It fails to mention the PendingFileRenameOperations registry key.
