Hi,

The Enterprise Library refers to a set of tools developed by the Patterns and Practices department. It allows developers to integrate various "Application Blocks" into their .NET applications, which are designed to handle common tasks in enterprise-scale applications, such as logging, data access, exception management, and many others. The curent version is 2.0

The .NET 2.0 release of Enteprise Library contained the following application blocks:

  • Caching Application Block
  • Data Access Application Block
  • Cryptography Application Block
  • Exception Handling Application Block
  • Logging Application Block
  • Security Application Block

Enterprise Library is currently being updated for .NET Framework 3.0. The new release is expected to include a new Validation Application Block and a small S/w Factory designed to simplify the development of new application blocks and extensions.

Anyway Microsoft Application Blocks for .NET is a good tool that help people handle database side process, althouth it isn't normalization in .net.

especially for database like Access that without storedprocedure, it give us 5 static class as follow

ExecuteNonQueryกขExecuteDatasetกขExecuteReaderกขExecuteScalar and ExecuteXmlReader

Hi Vizai:

i think this part is more related to Database Access than UserInterface, In UI part you can use any data control like DataGridView , DataTable and show data
