Hi,
I'd need to mak an IE plugin which connects to another .NET application, using some features available only in the .NET framework 2.0 (I believe).
Since I've been googling a lot about this, I haven't found no examples in C# 2.0, but all the plugins for IE are still with .NET 1.1...
Anything I should know Where I can find good examples, not only the BandObjects tutorial
Bye

Re: Internet Explorer Extension Development Any issues with .NET framework 2.0?

I built some small plugins for IE 7.0 using .NET Framework 2.0 and Visual Studio .NET 2005.
So far, I haven't encountered any issues because of the environment I'm using.

Best of luck,

The only toolbar I've built for IE was written in .NET 2.0, thanks to some handy features in 2.0 that we simply couldn't live without =]

We did ours by (of course) extending the BandObject .NET wrapper. Under "design mode" we built our toolbar as the new ToolStrip control, programmatically adding our items to it (since they were dynamic).
