    - Programmatically reading Cookies on Windows Vista using .NET? My toolbar (as referenced in my other posts) has a "Login" link on it, that dynamically changes to "Logout" if my user is currently logged into the website the toolbar is tied to. This code works fine in 9x, 2k and XP: string currentUser = System.Environment.GetEnvironmentVariable("USERPROFILE"); string[] cookieFiles = System.IO.Directory.GetFiles(currentUser + \\Cookies , "*" + myHost + "*"); However, in my Vista Ultimate beta this code explodes saying, "Access is denied." On further investigation, there are no cookies in this folder. A different post suggested they were in User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies, but I can't seem to find them there either.     - debugging IE in protected mode i have an add-on to IE that has been written in VC 2003 under XP. now i'm trying to make it works under Vista, so i rebuild it in VC 2005 and after some changes it's compiled fine. in addition, i changed all the registry/files access to the new locations using IEGetWriteableHKCU and IEGetWriteableFolderPath. if i run IE as an administrator, everything is ok but if in protected mode the IE shows a message on start up saying that it stoped working and everything is stucked. (it seems that even the "SetSite" method of the BHO is not called) the problem is that i can't debug this problem because if the visual studio is started as an administrator, it opens the debuged application with its integrity level. is there a way to debug an application that will be opened in protected mode thanks in advance, Amir.     - WinHTTPRequest truncates response body Using classic asp and vbscripting to try and implement an automated logon to Reporting Services using WinHttpRequest.SetCredentials... .Send. The code authenticates at the server OK but the response, which happens to be a pdf file returned by Reporting Services, gets truncated (maybe 200 bytes worth). The response header is fine. When I try getting the same report using wfetch, I get to see the whole pdf file (all of the response data is sent).     - iFrames and scrollbars I am trying to "frame" up our old intranet site with the toolbars coming from Sharepoint 2007. I am using iFrames to create the seamless look, and it generally works, except that i cannot get rid of the scrollbars. With regards to IECustomizer's suggestion I am able to easily add new script tags/code to the DOM but I was not able to make them execute. Any pointers on making this work would really be helpful as it would simplify a number of things for me.     - WebBrowser Control and IE7 on Vista I'm working with a .NET 2.0 WinForms app which hosts a WebBrowser control. I'm unable to launch resources which are located on the local filesystem. The majority of the app's content is stored in a database. I use the WebBrowser's Navigating event and capture the target Url, then grab content from the DB and pass that content to the WebBrowser's HtmlDocument.DocumentText property. That's working fine; however, I'm unable to navigate to open any resources on the local filesystem -- the Navigating event doesn't even fire when a link points to a file-based location. I've tried setting the local machine lockdown registry key and opting out of cross-domain protection as noted here http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx PostID=813117&SiteID=1&pageid=0#1200595 , but neither option worked for me.     - DST impact on IIS Same here. One web server is NT, the other is Win2000. Both show the correct time in the system tray, but when Frontpage sends an email containing a time stamp, it's one hour behind. I've thought of shutting down both servers, pulling the lithium battery, putting it back in and allowing that to reset the BIOS time, cranking them back up and setting the time via the system tray and not selecting "Automatically adjust for DST".     - Problem with block elements in designMode Hi, I've worked on RichText editor for web pages and have met a problem with block elements. The editable area (iframe) is 400px width and inside I create div element with static width 600px. The problem is, that the border of the div element overflows out of the iframe and the content od the div element is impossible to select.     - Why does not top+bottom+left+right set the size of an element? The CSS 2 Visual formatting model ( http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/visuren.html#choose-position ) states the following about position:absolute: The box's position ( and possibly size ) is specified with the 'top', 'right', 'bottom', and 'left' properties. However, neither IE6 nor IE7 seem to obey that. When setting all four properties, it's only considering the top and left properties, ignoring the others. Usually, this can be worked around by specifying the width and height instead, but I need to make a <textarea> that completely occupies it's containg <div>, except an area of 40px at the top.     - Three problems with IE 7 - rollovers, cut-off text and cut-off images Hi, I tried to access your test page but it apparent is taken off already. I have a similiar problem before (as I haven't seen your html code, I can't say for sure it is the exact same problem.) with gap appearing between menu items in my css menu. I coded my own css menu but I am sure it is using pretty much the same techique you'd find on the internet. My code works fine in firefox, opera, safari and ie6 but gaps will appear in ie7. My CSS menu structure was as follows: <div class="mainMenu"> <ul> <li><a href="someurl1.html">menuitem1</a></li> <li><a href="someurl2.html">menuitem2</a></li> <li><a href="someurl3.html">menuitem3</a></li> </ul> </div> Ran out of things to try, I tried to remove all the white space between all menu items and Voila--the gaps disappear. ie: <div class="mainMenu"><ul><li><a href="someurl1.html">menuitem1</a></li><li><a href="someurl2.html">menuitem2</a></li><li><a href="someurl3.html">menuitem3</a></li></ul></div> I'd strongly recommend you to try this.     - IE7 Script Error I'm having the exact same problem. The day I started having it, I installed Media Player 11. I also ran a registry cleaner program that day. Now I get this scripting error every time I try to run windows update. In addition, IE 7 opens up into a blank white page and I cannot use update. Lastly, my Yahoo Instant Messenger doesn't show any text in the text windows anymore.     - png files not showing in IE7 --- WHAT ABOUT WINDOWS SERVER 2003? SAME Problem. Can't type in the message block below. Hi - Vista will not let you run as Administrator by default. Turn off the user account control in security settings. If your not sure how to do this - use the patch from here: http://securevista.net/ I use this because vista's all over the place with it's low level of security on IE, different for user accounts and the hidden admin account. pls note, I did not write this, but i do use it with no problems. Note: The problem starts when the div.main appears on the left column and end et the same position. The div.main has margin-right set to positive number (the right column is float: right) and it is after the right column in the html code (in the contrast to the left logo). Efforts done: I have tried to set up z-order or override property for these two elements but I was unsuccessful (maybe you will be). I have changed the security setting: "Allow active content to run in files on my computer". i am facing so much trouble in developing the toolbar for the internet explorer.

Requirements are:
---------------------

1.The program will takes keyword list and deep link list and creates mutliple relivent taglines with the link text.

2. Toolbar to put the tags into blogs or such with a click counter to tell the times each one has been done this day, week, month (exportable and email or downloadable for assitants)

3.And the program that will install as a toolbar in the browsers ie, firefox and etc.

4. And i am looking to devolope this in c#.net it is possible
if not pls suggest any other language.
