I'm creating a div using javascript. This div is absolutely positioned, top: 0, left: 0; height and width: 100%.

It has a PNG as a background image, and I use css' filter property to make IE render the alpha channel.

Inside this div, I have another one with an onclick event.

The problem is that when i apply the filter, I can no longer fire the onclick event.

Any idea why

Are you clicking on a transparent part of the background image in the div If so, the onclick event won't fire. As a workaround, where the image is fully transparent, try making it 1% opaque (99% transparent) and see if it works then.
