Pete Warden

Hi everyone,

I just discovered this forum, looks like a great resource.

I'm a Firefox extension developer, and I'm porting http://petesearch.com/ over to IE as a BHO. I'm documenting the process, with sample code, on my blog at

http://petewarden.typepad.com/searchbrowser/firefox_to_ie_port/index.html

So far, I cover the process of getting a basic BHO compiling and installed, and doing XMLHttpRequest-style access in C++. I'll be covering DOM modification next, and then key-press capturing and modifying the UI.

I'll be posting some of the questions that have come up while I'm doing this here, but I also hope you folks will be able to look over my current articles, and help improve them if there's anything I've got wrong.

Thanks!

Pete

Thanks Rob, I hadn't seen your site, that does look very useful. Once I've finished my port, I'll see if I can get my extension added.
