Hi there,

The doc at http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/browser/external/overview/ie7_opensearch_ext.asp

Describes how to create custom search plugins for IE7.

Is there a means for adding auto-update support ie. A way to tell the search plugin to check back periodically to see if the search plugin has been updated

FF currently supports this with with the UpdateUrl and UpdateInterval tags.
<moz:UpdateInterval>1</moz:UpdateInterval>
<moz:UpdateUrl>http://www.blah.com/somepath/search.xml</moz:UpdateUrl>

Are there any plans for IE7 to support this auto-update functionality
Thaks,
Pete
