Its quite simple: you can't Smile

Whats the idea of a pop-up blocker, if it were in the programmers power to switch it on/off as they see fit

Registry.CurrentUser.CreateSubKey(@"Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\New Windows").SetValue("PopupMgr", (value == true 0 : 1));


It appears that the popup blocker can be disabled by C# code. Only if the current user has acces to the Registry

Im puzzled by a two things.

I was thinking server executed code can't alter client registry, so to alter registry using ASP.Net would make no sence IMO.

If not using ASP.Net, why bother turning the Internet Explorer popup-blocker off
