Hello, I'm having problems with IE7, cause it doesn't want to accept a certificate. I've tried almost everything. I've installed the certificate to one of the "Trusted..." certificate folders and still didn't work. Than I've cancelled all the certificate controlls in the "internet options" menu, but still din't help. Actually, I can access the site, but every time I open IE, I got to click the button to tell it to open the site, and that's very frustrating to me.

Could you please help me how to accept a certificate permanently
I just wanted to use IE to have the best support on WinXP when it's developped by MS as well as WinXP.

Many thanks for all help.

I am not sure if you are still having this issue but I wanted to let you know that there is a key element in accepting the certificate in IE7. You have to "trust" the CA to bypass the security warning. Click on the certificate and then click on the Certificate Path tab and click on the certificate for the CA and then Install Certificate in the Trusted Root.

This worked for me. Let me know if you have any problems. T
hanks.

Hi,

I am having the same issue. I went through the above steps - install certificate - selected the folder as trusted root and installed, and got a message 'Import successful'. But the certificate Error still prevails. When I checked in the certificates on IE > Tools > Options, I could not see the certificate listed in the folder trusted root. I tried installing in personal folder and checked but it is not visible there either, although i get message "Imported successfully". Please help.
