Hi All,

I know that the CS supports creating a catalog set and assign the catalog set to the user profile. But if i want to assign for group of users, then i see the business UI lacks the feature.

If it is so, then how should i go for it by customization

Regards,

Nazim

You can also assign a catalogset to an organization profile and have your users belong to that organization. An organization profile can really be any group of users.

Nazim,

Take a look at the following article on creating catalog sets and expressions: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms914929.aspx

I hope this helps!

Wade,

I believe the "Expression Builder " you specified is for the catalog alone. Their is no properties avaialble in th expression dialog to specify for the user object.

Let me know how i can solve this issue.

Both you and Jeff are correct, and I did not mean to only give you an incomplete answer.

Once you've defined the catalog set to your satisfaction, open the Customer and Orders Manager. When you create a new Organization, you can specify the "Organization Catalog Set". This will allow you to associate an organization to a specific catalog set. Then, add your the organization to the group of users.

Does this help

Thanks,

Wade

Thanks Wade. Even though it is a kind of workaround, i believe it should work.

Thanks a lot!!!
