I received this today as well. Some sort of scheme where the people who send out collect responses. They then use the information to steal your idenity (or at least try). Don't reply - just delete it. The FBI has a website and you can report it there if you wan to do something. However, this thing is very common...

Report it to the Police locally, too, as they will pass the information on.

I received one today and was tempted to reply. After all, ¡ê500,000.000 is a hellva lot of cash.

If I were you, I would keep an eye on my bank statements and credit card statements etc.

and is pretty convinced that it might be real.

then I tried to search who is Garry Davis in google.... then I know that he don't work in microsoft

so I know this is bull *** lol

it even gave the same batch number, reff number and winning number as you.

Here is the September version of this scam! I think that the revised emails should be posted to keep other informed. This scam seems to draw in a lot of people because it sounds somewhat real and the email suggests that they are part of these large corporations (again to make it sound more honest). The email below was received on Sept. 11th, 2007.

I hope that all of you have avoided this scam! If not, contact the credit reporting companies and have them lock your credit record so only you can get new credit, buy cars, get loans, etc. I heard that they have a way of doing that. It will also stop the preapproved credit card offers since they won't be able to preapprove their cards.
