If you're asking about registering your scheme with Direct Show, then try the DirectShow MSDN forum: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowForum.aspx ForumID=129&SiteID=1

If, however, you're thinking of using Media Foundation (which is on Windows Vista but not on XP), then you want to look in the documentation under Scheme Handlers (IMFSchemeHandler). The basic idea is that you implement this IMFSchemeHandler and then register your implementation (details in the docs). Your scheme handler produces an IMFByteStream from which the bits can be read. Now whether you also need to write a Byte Stream Handler and Media Source depends on what the bits actually are; i.e., whether they are handled by an existing MF Media Source.

Hope I pointed you in the right direction...

Thank you for your reply.

My issue still there, I have not solved yet.

My programe would support both Xp and Vista.

I do not want to implement sencond time.

So, I think MF should support old filter too, right

If you need to run on XP, then Media Foundation is out, and DirectShow is probably the better bet, since that's on both XP and Vista. Here's the forum for that: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowForum.aspx ForumID=129&SiteID=1
