I've got very critical issue. Commerce Server Database deadlocks Sad

Pipeline Error: Component Execution failed for component[0x0] hr: 0x80131904

ProgID: Commerce.QueryCatalogInfo

Transaction (Process ID 192) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

please help!

Here are few things that might help, but if not then contacting product support would be the best option.

> Add additional data files and log files to the MSCS_CatalogScratch database. And if possible ensure that the data files and the log files are on different physical drives or arrays. This can help if part of the issue is related to IO performance of SQL.

> Add additional data files and log files to the TempDB database. And if possible ensure that the data files and the log files are on different physical drives or arrays. This can help if part of the issue is related to IO performance of SQL.

> Rebuild indexes/full-text catalogs in the _productcatalog database

> Update statistics on databases

> Move the different site databases to different drives and/or arrays to increase perf.

You should open a case with the tech support. A similar deadlock issue of ours got resolved a while ago

You should contact PSS and ask for a fix. We had a similar deadlock issue that was resolvd a while ago
