Hi, im trying to send a message from biztalk to a WSHttp-WCFservice, using wcf adapter. The message is signed and encrypted and is send to the service successfully, but appears a strange warning in event viewer:

*

* The adapter failed to transmit message going to send port "SendPort4" with URL "http://localhost:8080/pl/ep1". It will be *retransmitted after the retry interval specified for this Send Port. Details:"The 'Body', 'http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-*envelope' required message part was not encrypted.".

*

My service is returning void but appears that can not return anything at all.

Can someone could tell me what is happening

Thanks

Can you tell us which security mode you are using Also, are there any other non default settings on the SendPort

Is SendPort4 the port you are using to submit the message Do you see any suspended messages in BTS

Thanks,

Hanu

im using message security mode with a client and a service certificate. The message is sent to the service cause i can obtain it. But biztalk dont receive the conclusion of the remote call of the service....and then it assumes that message wasnt sent. yes...is sendport4 im using and it is configured statically in biztalk console.

I already sent a message from a client to biztalk using WCF and certificates and it runs succefully but i cant sent a message from biztalk to a service with wcf!! I have not joy in doing this....

Can you please try the same scenario outside Biztalk, i.e. use a wcf client with the same security mode and same certificates to send a message to your service, and let us know if you get the same exception in this case

I already try a scenario without biztalk. I used a wcf client and a wcf service with the same security mode and the same certificates and no problem occur.

The problem is in Biztalk WCF Adapter when it tries to send an encrypted message. Can you send me a sample with this scenario i tried everything and i cant put it on.

We dont currently have any security samples available related to this.

Can you try the following:

Import the client .config file of your working scenario (the one that works independent of BizTalk), into a wcf custom send port, and see if your scenario then works with this custom send port
