I'm now experience a performance problem. There are several applications deployed on the same BizTalk farm, using the same host instances. But one of the application has a big throughput, sometimes it will receive many instances in a short time, so many instances (more than 200 instances, sometimes may be 500 instances) are runing in the same time. at that time, we found other applications cannot process the requests and response in a short time. So my question are:

1. Can we change the priority of the application and make the new requests from other application can be processed first

2. How can we know the BizTalk capacity For example, if we require the system responses in 2 seconds, how many instances can BizTalk process in the mean time

Many thanks.

The host create the single queue for instances.
I know only one method to work with your issue: create separate hosts for different orchestration/messages instances and balance the payload by map these orchestration/messages instances to the hosts.

OK. Make sense.

Thanks.

We created seperate Host Instances and also increased the maximum number worker threads as per the following: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/900455
