    - DRM: Digital Rights Management I would counter that the first point isn't necessarily true: since DRM also extends to media other than audio, specifically video, there's no way customers would stand for performance degradation of video encoding/decoding. High definition video is now widely available in the consumer market (at about $1500 US for a consumer High Def camera). It takes significant horsepower and bandwidth to handle such video. All such content starts out unprotected. By throttling back the performance under such cicumstances would defeat the objective of the operating systems function for many people - the Mac doesn't have this issue - iMovie is looking more and more like a viable proposition if Vista is 'designed' to reduce the capabilities of creating movies. However, your second point is of concern: again, with video - do monitors have their functionality 'disabled' when playing non-protected video !     - Creating Souce in PE errors I am having a problem with Creating a Media souce inside PE. I have the necessary debug credentials and I have test signed my source dll, however during the creation process, the application hangs indefinitely. Basically my steps are: 1. set MF_SESSION_REMOTE_SOURCE_MODE flag 2. Use PMPHOST to use CreateObjectByCLSID passing in Source Resolver 3. BeginCreateObjectFromURL returns no error 4.     - Stop error in Vista with NDIS 5.1 network driver The ONLY thing that I am using the NDIS filter driver for is to process ARP packets. Everything else is done using WFP. It would be very nice if it were possible to do that in WFP... What I would need is just a callout on ARP packets (incoming and outgoing). I need to inspect the various fields in the ARP packet (src and dst ip and mac addresses), and use this information to check and update various data structures. I need to be able to block or allow the packet based on the results of these checks. Basically the ultimate goal is to block and log unsolicited ARP replies, and to block and log ARP replies which conflict either with what I have recently seen, or with what has been configured in a static table. Is it need each PC that connected to camera must be installed with Windows Media Server However, from each location of that camera/live streaming we have to connected with our main server (via VPN) where at our main server will be host a web/mail server, firewall and everything that we centralized it. Every time I try I get this message: "Outlook express could not be started. The application was unable to open the Outlook Express message store.     - EDI Schema Editor Extension problem Hi, I have a schema that I migrated from BizTalk 2002 (XDR schema format) to XSD format via Visual Studio 2005. (i.e. renamed the schema from .xml extension to .xsd, included in new BizTalk project and opened in VS which performed automatic conversion). The schema gets converted without any errors. By default after migration, the Schema Editor Extensions property (on <Schema> node) has nothing selected in the list. To test the schema I want to generate a native instance and this requires selecting the EDI schema Extension Editor. The problem is after I select the EDI Schema Editor Extension as the editor and try Validate Schema I get the following error: error BEC2004: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. The same error occurs when trying to Generate Instance. If I remove the EDI Schema Editor and validate the schema without any editors, it validates fine. The XML seems to be valid. Why can't I use the new EDI Schema Editor extension with my migrated schema Can anyone assist with this issue I can provide the schema via email if required.     - Need help getting started with Microsoft Robotics Studio 1.5 I'm quite a newbie, I am trying to use the Parallax BOEbot with MSRS. I am trying to follow the Parallax text ( MSRS Bluetooth Boe-BotR Robot (#28118) v1.2), but getting stuck at the first step I've downloaded Microsoft Robotics Studio v1.5 When I r un the Robotics Studio Command Prompt, I get a message at the top that says... Setting environment to use Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0 SDK tools. For a list of SDK tools, see the 'StartTools.htm' file in the bin folder. I enter in CD samples\Platforms\Parallax\BASICStamp2 , and press the enter key. I then type BASICStamp2.csproj but all I get is a pop-up saying that Window can't open this file and asks me to find a program that can... It is as though it does not recognize files with a .csproj extension. I don't think MSRS is installed correctly (as evidenced by the message I get when I run the MSRS Command Prompt.
