    - WDS is very naughty. It doesn't wear pants, and it will not not index my mht files Please check under advanced options in WDS to see which filter is used to index those files. By default, .mht's filter description should say C:\WINDOWS\system32\mimefilt.dll. If you install a specific software that handles those mht file, that software might take over the default filter for mth files which could break the indexing.     - Why the ASP.NET Pages are slow ??? Not sure why Manan wants his reply to be marked as an answer. His reply doesn't really say why PHP seem to be faster than ASP.NET and it is actually not possible to answer that without knowing more about how the original poster came to that conclusion. I haven't tried out PHP for a long time but ASP.NET is a richer framework and as Manan also mentiones it will require more from the server so if you only meet the minimum requirements for ASP.NET it might be a reason it is running slower. For more ideas why PHP seem faster than ASP.NET you should provide more details how you come to that conclusion, what the pages are doing, what is actually slower and how you come to that conclusion.     - CS Staging and Creating Products We're using Commerce Server in the following envronments: Development, Staging, Production. Our client wants the ability to add products to the staging system, test them and when they're happy 'publish' them to the production system. We were going to using CS Staging but have discovered that when replicating business data from the source server (staging) to the end point (production) server it creates the catalogs, categories and products but not the Inventory SKU's. this means that when adding a new item to the basket in production the user receives an 'out of stock' error when running the basket pipeline. Firstly, I'd like to know why CS Staging doesn't do this. But I'd also like to know what the best approach to this scenario is. I've been running some load testing on a BizTalk application we are about to deploy and noticed that the perfmon counter NumberOfReclaimedConnections grows continuously in the app domain where we use the BizTalkOperations class. It looks like one of 2 is missing: 1) The callers of Microsoft.BizTalk.DBAccessor.ExecuteReader should close/dispose the sql connection when they are done with their sqldatareader object. 2) The code within Microsoft.BizTalk.DBAccessor.ExecuteReader should call the overloaded version of System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteReader that takes a CommandBehaviour enumeration and pass in the CommandBehaviour.CloseConnection value.     - WS Security interoperability between Java and .NET web services(Urgent) In one of the projects that we are executing, we are facing issues in WS Security interoperability between Java and .NET web services. I will describe the problem below and would like to know if any of you have faced any similar issues before and the way to go forward. Problem Statement We are building web services enabled with x509 certificates in .NET platform. This web service needs to interact with an external web service built in Java platform through secured channel (https). While doing POC we found that .NET WS is not able to validate the SOAP request signed by the Java client. We are using .Net 2005 and WSE 3.0 and Java client is built using Tomcat and Axis 1.3. The exact nature of the problem faced by us is as below The only signature found in the Java client created SOAP request is on the Security Token itself i.e the "KeyInfo" element. The Security Token is embedded inside "KeyInfo" element as a "SecurityTokenReference". However a .NET client seems to be embedding the Security Token in a "BinarySecurityToken" element within the "Security" element and the "SecurityTokenReference" element simply makes a URI reference to the "BinarySecurityToken" element. Hence the WSE 3.0 Web service refuses to recognize the "KeyInfo" element throwing an error "Security token could not be retrieved".     - searchindexer.exe utilizing near 100% CPU usage; suggestions from this forum tried to no avail I have disabled .XML filter from the Advanced Options. No go. I even rebuilt the index. I had hope as it appeared to be indexing normally and the CPU usage was down. It then hit "763 items indexed" and stopped. Status is still "Indexing speed is reduced..." and SearchIndexer.exe is pegged again near 100%, but the # of items indexed remains the same. I am running an Symantec Antivirus 10.2 Build 276.     - Control the indexer Hi again! It seems that the indexer "always" has a lot to do. Right now (I restarted the PC after the weekend), the Remaining counter is at 10.152 (and decreasing), and the "Indexed elements" counter is at 75.009 and does not change. I have set WDS up to index the following locations: Documents and settings on the local machine (set up as default) A folder on a shared network drive (10,8 GB, 47.000 files, 11.300 folders). Microsoft Outlook 2003 Folders. A private network drive (40 MB, 200 files, 40 folders) A shared network drive (1,3 GB, 4000 files, 667 folders) A sharepoint document library (50 MB, 170 files) Another sharepoint document library (33 MB, 77 files) I see now that the first shared network drive might be the reason for the indexing, this folder was much larger than I expected. However, there are only 10-15 persons that have access to this network drive, and maybe only 1-3 that is writing data to it, so I don't think 10.000 documents on that drive have changed since friday. A quick look using filemon, tells me that searchprotocolhost and searchindexer reads files from both the large network drive and the local disk, probably from all the sources that I have set up.     - Publishing multiple orhestrations as a single web service Hi, I have a project with two orchestratioins one for "geting Inventory data" and another for " getting POS data". The problem is when I published orchestration as a web service by selecting both Inventory and POS receive posts, the "Inventory orhestration" is working fine when I called from C# console application. But the same is not happening for "POS orchestration". But when I select only "POS orchestration receive port" as web service, it is working fine from c# console application. Is there any problem in multiple ports from different orchestrations when publishing as a web service Thank in advance.     - WDS regular expression "where * like" is not supported, you need to specify the property you want to look over, not a wildcard. Note, that regular expression search would not work over properties which are not retrievable, as they are not stored in property store (thus System.Search.Contents would not work, but System.Search.Autosummary would).     - Any way to make the CS 2007 help portable? Thanks for the response Jeff. What I am talking about is the technical design phase of a CS implementation. I have done several CS 2002 implementations, and during the requirements/design phase I travel and work a lot on my laptop. It is essential to have the docs to do this process well and the CHM worked well for this. I can fully understand the reasoning behind the change. However, without a viable workaround it seems like a step back. I was just hoping that someone had a great solution or that the docs were also still available as a CHM (surely a help compile option ). As far as this is possible in BizTalk for basically every device, that's cool I know there is a SQLServer 2005 Compact Edition. There are a couple of reasons why we would like to restrict indexing activity to non-core business hours. Is it possible to enforce such an option via the group policy I haven't been able to find a reference to this type of functionality in the admin guide.
