Hi,

When i try to use the Site Connection for Customer and Orders Manager and set the details such as webservice locations. Here even though all the details are provided

Catalogs: http://training/RCSiteCatalogWebService/CatalogWebService.asmx

Orders: https://training/RCSiteOrdersWebService/OrdersWebService.asmx

Profiles: https://training/RCSiteProfilesWebService/ProfilesWebService.asmx

i get the following error message while trying to connect it. "The Orders Web Service "https://training/RCSiteOrdersWebService/OrdersWebService.asmx" is currently unavailable. The Web Service might me experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your connection settings."

Domain Name: Training

Orders & Profiles webservice are set to Secure in IIS

Provided the Authorization using AZMON.msc.

In that case then what's happening is that your system is not configured to trust the SSL certificate. I can't remember how to set that up but later on today I will post the instruction for you.

I tried to perform the same steps displayed in the Article, still having the same issue.

Here are two things I've had to do to get the management apps to connect to the orders service (both having to do with your cert being trusted):

1) Install the certificate on the machine you are running the management apps on. Following instructions are based on my setup (XP/IE7), so it might be a slightly different process for you:

- Pull the service url up in IE (https://training/RCSiteOrdersWebService/OrdersWebService.asmx). You may have to click "Continue to this website".

- Click the button that says "certificate error", then "view certificates"

- In the dialog that pops up, click "Install Certificate", and follow along with the wizard.

2) Verify that the host name you are using (training), is the host the certificate is issued to. When you bring the service up in IE, you can click the lock to view what site the certificate was issued to.

Hope that helps!
