I am creating a project from a Microsoft Access dataset with multiple forms. I would like to create a start form from which I can open each of the other forms as needed. I can't seem to get from the start up form to the other forms. Can someone help me out. I am completely new to Visual Basic Express. Thanks, Ray Holt

There's more than one way to do this. Here is one solution:

On the startup form, place a set of radio buttons for the user to select which form to open. Place a NEXT button on the startup form. The code for the button's click event could be:

Select Case True
Case radForm1.Checked
Form1.Show
Me.Hide
Case radForm1.Checked
Form2.Show
Me.Hide
'etc
Case Else
MessageBox.Show("Please select a form to open")
End Select

After the selected form is finished, you can go back to the startup selections. Place a BACK button on each of the forms. The code could be:

FormStartup.Show
Me.Hide

Also place an EXIT button on the startup form. Don't run the program until you have the EXIT button in place. Enter this code:

Application.Exit()
