Who has found a Button object under Common Controls in Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition The tutorial shows it and uses it in its initial lesson on objects......but I can't find one!. I think it is a stitch-up with no Button Object. Back to Visual Foxpro and proper onject orientated programming for me. VB is just not up to the simple requirement of a buttton.

Do you want some help, or are you just here trolling for Foxpro

I think a better question would be "Who has not found a button " That's likely to be only one person, the OP.

I don't know why you can't find a button but.... in designer mode, open the toolbox and up near the top you will find a button or context menu item that says "reset Toolbox."

If that doesn't work, reinstall.

If that doesn't work... go back to Foxpro. It wasn't meant to be.

Brilliant, the Rest Toolbox has done it. But why should a fresh install do that ......I dunno! Thanks for your help I can get on now and see how this language measures up.
