Hello. A question please. I go to buy a new Pc. His features are:

  • Integrated ATI RADEON X700 Video Graphics, with up to 128MB Shared video RAM
  • PCI ExpressR X16 graphics card support
  • Embedded high-definition audio with 7.1-channel audio support
  • Ports: 6 USB 2.0 (2 front, 4 back); Headphone and microphone (front); 1 IEEE1394 FireWire; 2 SP/2; 6 audio jacks; Ethernet (RJ-45); VGA; Parallel

  • Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, English

  • I'd want to install the express version of VB2005 (Free). With theses features will VB2005 work Ok

    Welcome suggestions....

    Besides, I'd want to know the requirements of the express version  of VB2005.

    That system is mor than sufficient for XP/VBE.

    However, although it meets the minimal requirements for vista it's a litte on the thin side. I hope you enjoy.

    I have requirements for VS2005 but not for VBE. You are well, well over the minima for VBE.

    The PC you are describing does meet those requirements.

    You would be Much Happier with XP Pro...... Not enough HorsePower for Vista La Vesta.... They put too much Lipstick on the Pig .......

    One critical thing about buying a new computer is that you MUST NOT SETTLE FOR ANY LESS THAN THE BEST UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTLY MUST! In 3 years Microsoft is expected to release Windows Vienna a new operating system which will operate differently from all pervious versions of Windows. Be ready for another major upgrade.
