No. In visual studio 2008 they are including intellisense and debuging for Java script. I am not sure if it is available for vb script also

Set a reference to Windows Script Host Object Model (on the COM tab) and then import the IWshRuntimeLibrary.

Hi JohnWein

Would it be possible for a more detailed in your answer on how to enable Intellisense for VBScript. I have Visual Web Dev Express 2008.

The only settings I can find that refere to COM object are under Tools --> Choose Toolbox Items... COM Components. I can find no reference to the Windows Script Host object in the list. Do I need to load a DLL

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Many thanks

Woter

In the "Search MIcrosoft.com for:" textbox at the top of this forum page, enter "Windows Script Host".

Hi John,

Clearly I am being incredibly stupid, but I cannot find anything on Microsoft.com under the search string "Windows Script Host" that is helpful.

I installed WSH 5.6 (probably again as I am XP SP2), but I cannot see anything in the com list that represents WSH or VBScript libraries.

Thanks
