  1. What code should I write so that I can open a folder by clicking button1 Thanks.
  2. I want to make it open a folder in C:/Documents and Settings/.../My Pictures/PMIC with the name of Label1.Text E.g., if Label1.Text = "moi" then it should open C:/Documents and Settings/.../My Pictures/PMIC/moi. Thanks so much.

Re: Visual Basic Express Edition How to open an external folder?

Mahendiran

1. Use FolderBrowserDialog to open a folder.

for eg.

Private Sub Button4_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button4.Click

FolderBrowserDialog1.ShowDialog()

End Sub

2.

If Condition1

FolderBrowserDialog1.SelectedPath = "C:\Documents and Settings\...\My Pictures\PMIC"

Else

FolderBrowserDialog1.SelectedPath = "C:\Documents and Settings\...\My Pictures\PMIC\moi"

end if

FolderBrowserDialog1.ShowDialog()

Mahe
