Hi,

I'm using the system(char *) function to try and run an exe from a Windows Forms Application, but when it gets to that line, it just displays the command prompt for a second then it goes away and nothing happens.

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Try System::Diagnostics::Process::Start(String^) as an alternative.

Hey, thanks a lot!

That seemed to work, however, the VB program takes an argument and I had to take that out to make it run

from the C++ program. Is there a way to make a program run that takes an argument, using this Start method

Thanks.

Hey,

Never mind, I found the Start function that takes two String argument (one file, one arguments) and that worked!

Thanks so much for your help!

Of course, use the Process.Start(String^, String^) overload. Don't forget to look in the MSDN library, these forums are a poor substitute for instant answers you can get from that resource.
