I am trying to use the Me.Dispose, but it doesn't work. What is the correct way of closing / end a DLL app. The END keyword can't be used in a DLL. Thanks in advance for your help.

Huh

Application.Exit

A DLL is a dynamic-linked library. I don't think it's ever good practice for a DLL to shut down an application. Have it return a status so that more knowledgeable layers can do an appropriate shutdown.

I'm not sure if that's really the question. To add a Dispose method, your library should declare Impliments IDisposable right under the class declaration.

I tried the Application.Exit but it didn't work. I did this " ExpCG.frm_Select.ActiveForm.Dispose()" and it worked fine. I have no idea why this is but it's working. I don't know if it has to do with the CALL is within a Try / Catch.

Thanks for your help.
